The latest proof of that came from New York. USA is jointly hosting this year’s T20I WC and Kohli is there with the Indian team. The incident was caught on camera and now the whole world is talking about the stature that Virat holds in India and even in the US.
In the viral video, Virat is seen walking to join his teammates in a security circle of six personnel and that’s not even the best part. The eye-catching part was the two security personnel on horseback leading the pack and Virat safely towards the ground.
NYPD is taking no chances with the WC and the security has been top notch given that a pro-ISIS group has threatened the India vs Pakistan match. The security has been upped and it was seen during the India vs Bangladesh warm-up match when a fan entered the ground to meet Rohit Sharma.
The much awaited, India vs Pakistan, match will be played on 9th June in New York. India will try to give their best to quench the thirst for an ICC trophy after eleven years.
