Warangal district witnessed a tragic incident when 24-year-old Adep Shivakumar was returning home from work in Hanmakonda. Near Machhapur village, street dogs chased his bike. In panic, he sped up, lost control, and fell into a drainage ditch. He died on the spot, and people nearby could not save him.
The incident has left villagers shocked. They say stray dogs are becoming a serious threat in several areas and similar accidents keep happening in the state. Locals blame authorities for failing to control the stray population.
Residents say the number of street dogs is rising due to irregular sterilisation and weak management. They now demand immediate action, safer roads, and better control measures to prevent further deaths. Shivakumar’s loss highlights how urgent the problem has become.
