Françoise is the heir to the cosmetic empire of The L’oreal. The company itself stands at a worth of $241 billion on the Paris Stock Exchange. The growth in the share prices of the company has helped her add nearly $28 billion to her worth this year.
She and her family own 35 percent share at the company. Although she is the richest woman on the planet right now, she stands at number 12 among the richest persons. The year saw a trend of massive increase in wealth of the richest.
Among the top 500 billionaires, 77 percent saw an increase in their wealth. Elon Musk still tops the list with a net worth of $232 billion. Françoise is 70 and she inherited the company from her mother in 2017.
