Women Criminals as Surpanakha: Huge Online Outrage

Justice and crime involving women

Any cruel crime must be punished, no matter if it is committed by a man or a woman. Justice should be fair and equal for all.

Recently, some crimes by women have grabbed attention. Muskaan is linked to the “Neela Drum” case, where her husband’s body was found in a blue drum.

Nikita caused her husband so much mental agony that he took his own life. Sonam Raghuvanshi killed her husband Raja during their honeymoon in Shillong.

These cases reveal a dark and harsh side of women. They break trust and shock society. This year, effigies of Sonam, Nikita, and Muskaan were burnt during Surpanakha Dahan at Dasara, causing huge online outrage.

However, it is important to remember that for centuries, women in India have suffered silently. They faced violence, abuse, and humiliation without public protest or effigy burning.

Wrong is wrong. Sonam, Nikita, and Muskaan must face justice. But the law should be equal for everyone, regardless of gender.
