Several videos on social media show his face, voice and name without permission. Though they appear real, they are created using AI tools. This has led to confusion among viewers.
Gambhir has requested the court to stop the circulation of such content. He has also sought ₹2.5 crore in damages. In addition, he wants all fake videos removed from platforms.
Some of these clips show him making statements he never made. A few have gone viral and gained lakhs of views. This has made the issue more serious.
Gambhir stated that the matter is not just personal. He highlighted the misuse of technology to spread false information. He also pointed out that such content is often used for profit.
The case includes social media platforms and accounts involved in sharing these videos. He has asked for strict action to prevent similar incidents in future.
