
The stage is firmly set for the kickstarting of the champion trophy, which is commencing next month. In this context, India has officially announced its squared for the upcoming cricketing tournament and here is a look into the same.
The team is obviously being led by Rohit Sharma, who is captain the side in what appears to be his final major ICC tournament.

Interestingly, the team has backed and underperforming Shubman Gill as the vice captain of the side. This could well be an indication that Gill will be leading the side in the absence of Rohit Sharma, which may not be too far from now.

The champions trophy is set to kickstart on February 19 and India will be playing its matches in the neutral venues in United Arab Emirates. Rest of the tournament will be held in Pakistan, which is the host nation.
Interestingly, team India has moved away from Surya Kumar Yadav, who has been one of the most consistent performers for the side over the recent months.
