RCB vs RR: 15 Year Star Destroys World Class Bowlers

Vaibhav Suryavanshi IPL knock

The match between Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Guwahati ended in Rajasthan’s favour as they chased down 201 without much panic and continued their winning run in IPL 2026.

After the rain delay, Riyan Parag won the toss and chose to bowl. RCB managed 201 runs, which looked like a strong total on paper, but it didn’t feel enough once Rajasthan started batting.

RCB’s batting didn’t fully click. Phil Salt was out for a duck, which gave an early setback.

Virat Kohli looked in attacking mode and made 32 off 16, but he got trapped by Ravi Bishnoi just when he was looking set.

Captain Rajat Patidar was the only one who really contributed, scoring 63 off 40 and holding the innings together.

The rest couldn’t build on their starts. In the end, impact player V. Iyer added a few quick runs which pushed the total to 201, but it still didn’t feel enough.

The game changed in the powerplay itself. Vaibhav Suryavanshi came out attacking. Jaiswal got out early to Josh Hazlewood, but that didn’t slow things down.

Vaibhav just kept going. No fear, no respect for big names. Even someone like Hazlewood, who is counted among the top bowlers in the world, had no answers against a 15 yearold. That’s how one sided it looked.

Rajasthan scored 97 runs in the first six overs, and the match was almost done there. Vaibhav was hitting everyone Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Hazlewood, whoever came in.

He made 78 runs in just 26 balls. Clean hitting, simple batting, nothing fancy just pure attacking cricket. By the time he got out, the result was almost decided.

After that, Dhruv Jurel finished the game calmly. No rush, no mistakes. Rajasthan reached 202 for 4 and won by six wickets.

Vaibhav is now close to 200 runs in just four matches and leading the six hitting charts. But more than numbers, it’s the way he is batting that stands out. He is taking on international bowlers like it’s nothing.

At this rate, it doesn’t look far when we might see him making his T20 debut for India soon.
