The International Cricket Council has announced the complete schedule for the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026. The tournament will be held in England from June 12 to July 5. A total of 12 teams will compete for the title.

The final will take place at the historic Lord’s Cricket Ground in London. Hosts England will begin the tournament against Sri Lanka on June 12. The opening clash is expected to draw strong local support.

Defending champions New Zealand will be among the top contenders. Six time winners Australia, along with India, Pakistan, South Africa and West Indies, will also feature. Bangladesh, Ireland, Scotland and the Netherlands qualified through the global qualifiers in Nepal.

India have been placed in Group A with Australia, Pakistan, South Africa, Bangladesh and the Netherlands. The group is expected to be highly competitive. Several strong teams will battle for knockout qualification.

Group B includes England, New Zealand, West Indies, Sri Lanka, Ireland and Scotland. The Netherlands will make their Women’s T20 World Cup debut against Bangladesh. Ireland and Scotland will begin with an all European encounter.

One of the key fixtures will see England face Scotland on June 20 at Headingley. ICC CEO Sanjog Gupta called the schedule release a major milestone. He said the ICC remains committed to investing in women’s cricket and expanding its global reach.
