Suriya Not Bold & Daring Like Sivakarthikeyan?

Suriya Siva Karthikeyan

Following the blockbuster success of Amaran, Sivakarthikeyan is acting as a lead in Parasakthi, directed by Sudha Kongara. This project was initially written for Suriya.

Earlier, Sudha Kongara and Suriya had announced a project titled Purananooru. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, Suriya exited the project.

Subsequently, Sudha Kongara announced the same project with Sivakarthikeyan taking over the lead role, with the title changed to Parasakthi.

Recently, a prominent Tamil Nadu distributor shared his perspective, suggesting that fate played a role in Suriya’s departure and Sivakarthikeyan’s casting.

Furthermore, beyond fate, Parasakthi is reportedly based on the Anti-Hindi agitation concept. It’s been speculated that Sivakarthikeyan, perceived as having more conviction on this subject, readily embraced the opportunity.

In contrast, Suriya might have been apprehensive about the film’s theme, potentially considering future political aspirations and the potential repercussions. This video has now gone viral.

Consequently, some netizens on social media have commented that Suriya made a significant misstep by declining the project, especially considering its promising premise and Sudha Kongara’s previous successful collaboration with him in Soorarai Pottru.

Nevertheless, Sivakarthikeyan has seized this opportunity, and it remains to be seen whether Parasakthi will achieve blockbuster success and continue his current winning streak.
