Recent sensation, Dawn Pictures’ producer Aakash Baskaran, who is also making his directorial debut with Idhayam Murali, recently opened up about Dhanush and Ajith Kumar’s project in an interview, and his statements have now gone viral.
Aakash Baskaran revealed that Dhanush has narrated a story to Ajith Kumar, and the latter has liked it. The talks for the project are still in the initial stages, and once finalized, it will be produced by Dawn Pictures.
At the same time, he also provided an update that Dhanush will be playing the lead in a film directed by Lubber Pandhu fame Tamizharasan Pachamuthu, which is expected to start soon.
Following the update about Dhanush and Ajith Kumar’s collaboration, many social media users reacted by saying that what was once considered a baseless rumor now seems to be true. If the project materializes, it could be one of the biggest Kollywood films ever made.
On the other hand, Dhanush fans are celebrating the update about Tamizharasan Pachamuthu’s film and believe he has become a sensational director in Kollywood after Lubber Pandhu.
Many also pointed out that Dhanush hasn’t done a full-fledged commercial film in years, and they are hoping Tamizharasan Pachamuthu delivers a mass entertainer for him.
