Sundar C, following the success of Madha Gaja Raja, is now making a comeback with Gangers, where he stars alongside Vadivelu in the lead roles. The film is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on April 24th.
Catherine Tresa plays the female lead and marks her return to Kollywood after a six-year hiatus.

Recently, the film’s video song titled “Kuppan”, composed by C. Sathya, was released. However, the song has sparked criticism among Kollywood audiences for its excessive glamour, featuring Catherine Tresa in a highly stylized and glammed-up portrayal throughout the track.
After Madha Gaja Raja, Sundar C faced backlash from sections of the Tamil audience, with many criticizing him for casting heroines merely as glam dolls. Despite that, he has now released another song in a similar tone, reigniting that same debate.
