Yesterday, the grand audio launch of Vijay‘s final film Jana Nayagan, took place in Malaysia with the title Thalapathy Thiruvizha. During the event, H Vinoth’s fiery speech about the film is now going viral on social media.
H. Vinoth stated that a few people say Jana Nayagan is a remake and others say it is a partial remake. Some also think they can compete with and defeat us. However, Jana Nayagan is a 100% Thalapathy film and it is going to be a commercial feast in theaters.
In response to this viral statement, many Kollywood fans were surprised, as H. Vinoth has rarely spoken with such a bold attitude before.
Vijay fans have already started celebrating the director’s statement and they believe H Vinoth is extremely confident in the final output of Jana Nayagan and are hoping that it will be a sure shot blockbuster upon its release.
At the same time, some general audiences noted that H Vinoth might be playing it safe by mentioning Jana Nayagan, a 100% Thalapathy film because they suggest that if the movie receives mixed reviews after its release, he could escape criticisms by claiming it was a fan service film and that he lacked the freedom to implement his own creative ideas.
Nevertheless, when Jana Nayagan was announced, some Vijay fans were worried about it being directed by H Vinoth, but now it seems the sentiment has shifted and they have started celebrating him by sharing fan edits and believing he will not disappoint with the actor’s farewell film.
