Following the terrible failure of Vilayath Buddha, Prithviraj returned with a heist action thriller film I, Nobody directed by Nisam Basheer, which was released in theatres on 9th July.

Since the trailer of this film, released a few weeks ago, became a viral hit with positive responses from the audience, many people believed that I, Nobody would become a blockbuster success and Prithviraj would make a massive comeback.

But unfortunately, because of the mixed responses from the audience, I, Nobody is struggling to sustain itself in theatres and is heading towards a washout in many centres.

According to reports, I, Nobody has collected only around 10 crores worldwide in the first four days of its theatrical run and yesterday in particular, the film faced pathetic ticket bookings worldwide.

In response to the disastrous theatrical run of I, Nobody, many trade experts are suggesting that since I, Nobody was made on a budget of around 40 crores, the film should have collected at least 60 crores to become a profitable venture. However, based on the current trend, it seems like I, Nobody might complete its theatrical run below 30 crores and end up as a terrible loss for the production house.

They also point to the failure of Vilayath Buddha and claim that Prithviraj’s last two films have ended up as a complete loss to the makers. Therefore, they note that he is now in need of a comeback to uphold his market value.

Although Prithviraj has now been acting as an antagonist in SS Rajamouli’s pan Indian film Varanaasi and has Odiyan: The Age of Illusion in his lineup, these recent failures of his might create a negative impact on these pan Indian films, says the trackers.

Ultimately, it remains to be seen how Prithviraj is going to shape his lineup further and whether he will make a solid comeback and reclaim his throne in the future.
