Prithviraj’s I, Nobody Opens to Mixed-to-Negative Reviews

Prithviraj in I Nobody movie

Following the terrible failure of Vilayath Buddha, actor Prithviraj has returned with his film I Nobody, directed by Nissam Basheer, which was released in theatres today with huge expectations.

Since everything released from the film so far, including the songs and trailer, was solid and promising, many people believed that I, Nobody would become a sure-shot blockbuster and give Prithviraj a much-needed comeback.

But, unfortunately, the film is receiving mixed responses from audiences. Many people, after watching the film, are saying that although the first half was solid with a racy screenplay, the second half was a major letdown.

They claim that the emotional portions didn’t land well and because of this, the second half failed to create an impact. They suggest that if the makers of the film had edited it better and trimmed some portions, I, Nobody would be a good film. However, due to the draggy narration, they feel that the film ended up as an average attempt.

Meanwhile, a section of the audience suggests that, even though the film has some flaws and illogical sequences, I, Nobody is a decent film with solid performances by Prithviraj and Parvathy, as well as an interesting conflict.

However, due to these mixed responses, I, Nobody is now struggling to sustain itself in theatres and bookings for the film are also underwhelming in many places. While the original version itself is struggling because of the mixed responses, the Telugu version of the film is gearing up for its theatrical release tomorrow.

Hence, it remains to be seen how the Telugu version is going to perform and whether I, Nobody will at least achieve the break-even mark in its final run and save the producer from a loss.
