Interestingly, Suriya’s next film, Suriya 46, directed by Venky Atluri, has already sold its OTT rights. If this situation continues, Suriya 46 might release before Karuppu, surprising many fans.
This uncertainty has triggered criticism of Dream Warrior Pictures from Suriya’s supporters on social media. They argue that the production house struggles to handle big projects and are urging Suriya not to work with them in future.
While some feel the delay may not harm Karthi’s rising career, fans say it is an embarrassment for Suriya. Despite being one of Kollywood’s top stars, his film has not found an OTT buyer, raising concerns about his career trajectory.
