Amid these busy commitments, strong speculation has now emerged about Suriya’s next possible project. Reports claim he may reunite with director TJ Gnanavel after the success of Jai Bhim in 2021.
Sources suggest that the proposed film could be inspired by real-life incidents, similar in tone to Jai Bhim. It is also being linked with Suriya’s production house 2D Entertainment.
Even though Jai Bhim released directly on Amazon Prime Video during the Covid period, the film received strong appreciation from both critics and audiences. It became one of the most discussed releases of that year.
Following these rumours, many Suriya fans on social media have started celebrating the possible reunion. They believe the actor-director combination can deliver another impactful and successful film.
Some fans also feel TJ Gnanavel remains a talented filmmaker despite the underperformance of his recent film Vettaiyan with Rajinikanth. They are hopeful this collaboration will become official soon.
