Suriya is currently awaiting the release of his movie Kanguva, which holds lots of expectations among the audiences; also, parallelly, he completed the shooting of his next movie, which is tentatively titled Suriya 44, directed by Karthik Subbaraj.
Kanguva is all set for a worldwide theatrical release on November 14th, and if this movie becomes a blockbuster success, then after this, Suriya’s market may open up wider, and his next movies will have lots of expectations.
Suriya’s line-up looks interesting, as after Kanguva and Suriya 44, there is going to be a movie under RJ Balaji’s direction, which is going to be his 45th movie, and also Vetri Maaran’s Vaadivaasal is going to be his 46th film.
Recently, there were also speculations that Suriya was going to act in a crucial role in Dhoom 4. Still, it’s not been finalized, and it is just a strong buzz.
In this scenario, a few months ago there was also a strong buzz that Suriya was going to act in a pan-Indian movie Karna under Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, but later, due to some circumstances, this project got shelved.
But now during the IIFA awards, a journalist asked Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra about his next movie with Suriya, which is Karna, and he gave a positive sign, which means the project is still on.
It looks like Suriya, after a great downfall for the past 10 years, is slowly rising as a pan-Indian hero.
