
Vikram’s most anticipated Veera Dheera Sooran Part-2 (VDS), directed by Chithha-famed S U Arun Kumar, was released in theatres on March 27th and has received positive reviews from the audiences.
Despite the positive responses, VDS has failed to become a successful venture in terms of box office collections.

According to reports, as of now VDS has collected only around 55 crores worldwide, and still only a few days are left for the release of Ajith Kumar’s Good Bad Ugly, so it’s expected that VDS may end its theatrical run by collecting around 60 crores.
Kollywood audiences believed that Vikram would make a solid comeback with VDS in terms of box office collections, as none of Vikram’s solo movies in the last 11 years ended up as a successful venture.

Vikram’s last solo theatrical hit was I released in the year 2015, whereas the Ponniyin Selvan franchise’s theatrical success will not be considered Vikram’s success as it is a multi-starrer.
It remains to be seen whether Vikram will deliver a blockbuster success in terms of box office collections in his next with Maaveeran director Madonne Ashwin and will make a comeback in his acting career.
