The business tycoon Elon Musk who owns the X-platform and billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has said that he’s going to sue the Media Matters watchdog group as well as some other people for purported libelous accusations of antisemitism against
The move by musk has come following a number of large companies, such as coke-cola, pepsico, starbucks, and mcdonald’s have all decided to withdraw their adverts from x platform that has failed to contain hateful and extremist posters.
As per Musk, Media Matters’ intention is to deceptively portray the legitimate user experience with X platform and to undermine freedom of speech by forcing advertisers to reject the platform. He further declared that a well-coordinated smear campaign led by some members of the Jewish Community was aimed at stirring up haters on him as a white man.
Musk defended his platform as a fortress of freedom and creativity that cannot be intimidated by the “cancel culture”. In addition, he declared that he will retaliate through seeking punitive damages against the defenders of ‘nuclear verdicts’ that are prevalent in the trucking industry and other fields.
Musks lawsuit is anticipated to be one of the most notable and heated legal battles in technology space that would likely influence the direction of future web platforms liability and control over user generated content.
