IT giant, Tata Consultancy Services, shortly TCS appears to have a shocking and unexpected decision as they have reportedly decided to cut the salaries of certain employees over misconduct charges.
Going into the story, TCS reportedly sent transfer orders to around 2000 employees last November. This was to immediately relocate them to a different work location in under 2 weeks and warn them of serious consequences if the condition is not met.
Several of these employees reportedly approached the IT workers union and complained about the regulation mandating them to move to another city in location in just 2 weeks. The union then called for an investigation on TCS over unfair employment regulations and working conditions.
Shortly after that, TCS reportedly enforced misconduct action against around 900 employees and stopped paying them salaries. The employees are saying that the company hadn’t communicated the salary withholding and they are worried about their salaries now.
There are reports about employees complaining about bad working conditions in TCS as a few complaints read that the company has been holding them on the bench with the narrative that there aren’t projects in hand for the company. Now, the complaint about non-payment of salaries to 900 workers has caught the attention.
