The whole world is talking about the Trump shooting. In the process we have forgotten that many innocent civilians are losing their lives in numerous shootings taking place in America as usual. We can’t let this shooting take away the horrific reality of security in the United States and the gun epidemic that is not going to spare anyone.
4 people were killed in a shooting at a nightclub in Birmingham, Alabama this weekend. A total of 9 others were injured in this shooting making it one of the deadliest of the year. The police haven’t identified any suspects yet and the investigation is still going on.

At a time when the whole country is mad about how the presidential candidate can be shot at, very few are ready to accept that the answer is guns. The 20 year old shooter who hit Trump carried a licensed gun which can take a shot from such a distance.
When semi-automatic rifles are sold over the counter to anyone, you have to acknowledge the risk of shootings taking place almost everywhere. America has seen 293 mass shootings this year and if this is not enough for the lawmakers to do something about it then they don’t really want to do anything about it.
