780K H1-Bs Filed, Over 65K Cap!

The demand for H1-B visas keeps increasing every year, and in fiscal year 2024, it’s shocking once again.

A huge 780,000 applications were submitted for H1-B visas, but the limit is only 85,000 (65,000 regular + 20,000 for Master’s students). The cap for H-1B visas in Fiscal Year 2024 has been reached.

USCIS got over 780,000 applications from employers this year, and more than half were for candidates with multiple applications.

Employers were warned not to fraudulently submit multiple applications for the same person, but some still did it, especially from desi employers.
