Another such tragic incident has been confirmed. Sai Surya Avinash Gadde, a student at Trine University, drowned on July 7th at Barberville Falls in Albany, NY.

The Indian embassy in New York is extending all necessary assistance, including the issuance of a NOC for the transportation of Avinash’s mortal remains to India.
According to the Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Office, the person who died was a man not from the area, as reported by U.S. media. Another individual who was in the water was rescued by the rescue team.

Based on this report, it is likely that he was visiting Barberville Falls in New York for the July 4th long weekend. Unfortunately, he did not return from his trip, leaving his parents and family back home in deep shock.
