Just days after the Telugu community in Texas mourned the tragic death of Chandrashekar Pole, Fort Worth police arrested 23-year-old Richard Damion Florez for the killing.
Shooting During Late-Night Shift
Florez allegedly shot Pole while he was working a late-night shift at a gas station. Reports say he also fired at another car but missed. The violence didn’t stop there.
Chaos Before Arrest
Florez crashed through a security gate and tried to break into a nearby home before police reached the scene. He was injured in the crash and taken to hospital, where he was arrested on homicide charges.
Investigation Underway
Police have not confirmed whether Florez had a criminal record or if the attack was targeted. His motive remains unclear. Investigators are asking anyone with footage or information to contact Fort Worth police.
