Delta AI Chaos: Horrible Honeymoon Flight

Horrible Honeymoon Flight

A frustrated US passenger recently took to social media to vent about a series of problems allegedly caused by Delta’s AI system, all during his honeymoon.

According to the user, the trouble began just an hour before their flight from Atlanta to London. The couple, who had booked Comfort+ seats, were suddenly moved to the Main Cabin due to an equipment change.

Despite multiple calls and chats, they claim to have received no meaningful response or solution. But, as they say in their sarcastic tone, “this was just an appetizer and the main course was in the oven.”

While they were in France for their honeymoon, the user suffered a dislocated shoulder and was put in a sling. Still recovering, he was hoping for some comfort on his return flight from Rome to Atlanta. So he again booked in Comfort+ and was seated with his wife… until check-in.

He claims Delta’s AI system had separated them without any notification, placing him in a middle seat and his wife behind him.

Eventually, after more back and forth with chat support, a supervisor arranged for the couple to be seated together. Delta also partially refunded their earlier downgrade and added some bonus points.

However, their horrific experience didn’t end with the trip; it concluded with one last issue. The user claimed one of their checked baggage was delayed and arrived on a later flight.

Netizens suggest that he should contact Delta and demand a full refund from American airlines for this horrific experience.
