This happened after Musk refused to appoint a legal representative in Brazil and criticized de Moraes, calling him an “evil dictator cosplaying as a judge.”
This criticism led to an investigation into whether Musk was using X to spread misinformation and destabilize Brazilian democracy.
X has stated that they expect more legal action from Alexandre de Moraes, potentially leading to the complete shutdown of X in Brazil, as the company did not comply with his orders to censor political opponents.
