Elon Musk is worried that if Kamala Harris becomes President and Tim Walz becomes Vice President, his social media platform, X (formerly Twitter), could face significant legal and operational problems in the U.S.
Elon Musk voiced these concerns on X, pointing out that this year has already seen a lot of attacks on free speech. He believes that similar issues could arise in the U.S. if Kamala Harris and Walz come to power.

Elon Musk’s apprehensions are influenced by recent troubles X has faced in Brazil.
In Brazil, X encountered serious legal issues when Alexandre de Moraes, a Supreme Court judge, ordered the suspension of X’s operations there.

This happened after Musk refused to appoint a legal representative in Brazil and criticized de Moraes, calling him an “evil dictator cosplaying as a judge.”
This criticism led to an investigation into whether Musk was using X to spread misinformation and destabilize Brazilian democracy.
