If you’re interested in getting US citizenship then the government of the United States is planning on a fast track route to citizenship for certain people but there’s a catch. This scheme will be applicable to only those foreigners who are willing to serve in the military and qualify all security checks. A legislation has been introduced called ‘Courage To Serve Act’.
The bipartisan legislation was introduced by Pat Ryan and John James. The aim of the bill is to provide an expedited path for the migrants who are qualified and vetted and ready to serve in the military.
The USA is undergoing a recruitment crisis as every year less and less people are interested in joining the armed forces. It is not easy to convince the youth to go and fight in a foreign country in adverse conditions. The youth is now questioning if it’s even in the interest of the nation to serve in a place like the Middle east or if it just suits some ulterior motives of the government.
The bill is lucrative for migrants who have had some experience in the defense forces. It will also provide a decent paying job along with the citizenship and help the migrant settle in.
