Indian Boy Scammed 1 Crore+ From American Lady! Caught

Chinese Hackers Sneaked

In an embarrassing turn of events a young Indian individual has been sentenced to 51 months of prison time in the US and rightly so, as he had scammed an elderly lady a massive sum of a hundred and fifty thousand US Dollars.

The individual in question is Sukhdev Vaid who hails from Haryana and is 24 old. As per attorney Jesse Laslovich, Vaid had committed the fraud through an International computer hacking scheme which specialised in targeting elderly Americans across the nation and had already costed the state a loss of over 1.2 million US Dollars.

The court in its hearing on Wednesday, not only ordered Vaid a 51 month worth of prison time but also issued the order that once released, he will be remanded to the Bureau of Customs and Immigration Enforcement for deportation and also pay USD 1,236,470 as restitution. Following the verdict, Attorney Laslovich opened up on how many individuals of foreign nationalities have been scamming the elderly Americans and getting away with it time and and went on to thank the FBI for its sophisticated and strict mannerisms.

The victim in an emotional interaction revealed that she has been driving a 2007 model car and that this incident has taken from her the ability to get a new one. She went on to say that it’s not just a monetary loss for her as she will now hardly ever be able to trust someone again and will, against her will, have to adopt a hostile approach towards life in general.

She also opened up on how the inflation keeps making the cost of living go up and how it’s not helping things, especially when she is on a fixed pay and how she’s not sure whether she will ever have peace of mind again and trust others as she has not just been financially, but also mentally violated.

The government alleged in court documents that a large enterprise originating from India is involved, and also primarily behind these stealings. Incidents like these surely don’t make up a good name for the nation and it is now high time that the Indian government starts looking into this issue and do the necessary, bringing in strict laws and regulations, all in an attempt to end this spreading plague that harms not only the lives of many, but also the integrity of our nation.
