A tragic incident in Baltimore, Maryland, involved an Indian IT family. Yogesh Honnala (37), Pratibha Honnala (35), and their 6-year-old son, Yash Honnala, were found dead from gunshot wounds in their home. Initially thought to be a suicide, authorities later confirmed it as a double murder-suicide.
Yogesh H. Nagarajappa, the husband and father, is suspected of committing the double murder before taking his own life. The family had lived in the United States for nine years, working as software engineers.
The exact reasons for this tragedy remain unknown, causing immense anguish for their relatives. The family was last seen alive on Tuesday evening; autopsies are pending.
Originally from Halekal village in Jagalur taluk, Karnataka, the news reached their Indian family when Baltimore police contacted them on August 19th, initially reporting the deaths as suicide. However, authorities are actively investigating the circumstances.
Shobha, Yogesh’s mother, expressed deep sorrow and confusion. She mentioned that her son and daughter-in-law had been living happily in the United States for almost a decade. The sudden and unexplained tragedy has distressed the family, desperately seeking answers.
