Indian Man Who Killed 16 To Be Sent Back!

A tragic road accident in Canada has become the cause for deportation of an Indian origin person. The perpetrator in this case is an Indian origin truck driver who caused an accident. The deadly Humboldt Broncos crash resulted in the death of 16 people. The perpetrator had pled guilty to charges of dangerous driving.

During the time of the crash in 2018, he was a new permanent resident who had been employed for less than a month by the employer. Apart from the 16 dead, 13 others were injured in the crash.

The perpetrator was sentenced to eight years in prison. Earlier this year he received a parole. The Canada Border Services Agency had recommended deporting him after that. The truck driver then filed an application to allow him his stay in the country.

His application has been canceled by a judge and he will soon be deported back to India. However, he can apply to stay in Canada on humanitarian grounds. He had a married life in Canada which will be disrupted.
