Indian Shot Dead In Alabama

The number of shocking crimes against Indians in the USA has been on a raise over the last few months and there is addition to the list as an Indian man was shot dead outside a Gurudwar in Alabama, USA.

Raj Goldy Singh, a sikh man, and a musician died of a gunshot wound at Sikh Center of the Pacific Coast, a gurdwara, in Alabama’s Selma.

Raj, 29, was standing outside the Gurudwar after performing a Kirtan there and he was shot fatally by miscreants. He sadly succumbed to the injuries and passed away. The incident happened on the 23rd of February.

Raj is a native of Tanda Sahuwala village in Bjnor, Uttar Pradesh and he had been with the Sikh group in the USA for the last 1 and a half years.

The investigation is underway to identify if there is any hate crime angle associated with the shooting incident. Meanwhile, the paining family members are asking the Indian government to see to it that the mortal remains are returned to India for cremation.
