Infosys Techie Dies In Australia Saving Twin Daughters

An Infosys techie tragically died in Australia while trying to save his daughters whose pram rolled on to the railway track.

Diving into the details, Anand Runwal, aged 40, was an Infosys IT employee who used to work in Sydney.

At around 12.25 pm on Sunday (July 21), Anand was at Carlton station along with his wife and twin daughters.

After the family got down from the lift, the pram containing the kids accidentally rolled down to the railway track.

Anand heroically jumped on the railway track from the platform inroder to save his daughters. He was able to save the elder daughter. However, Anand and his younger daughter were killed.

Anand’s wife and his daughter were taken to the nearby hospital and they were discharged the same night.

Anand and his family shifted to Sydney in late 2023. They used to stay in Kogarah suburb of Sydney.

Very recently, Anand’s parents visited him in Sydney. Reportedly, his dream was to have his mother and father in Australia.

One of his friends spoke to the Australian media and said that Anand was a very fun-loving person. He used to regularly stay in touch with him.




All his friends are shocked by his sudden demise. According to reports, his family is yet to digest the fact that he is no more and is not in a position to talk to anyone.
