India and the United States of America have strengthened their relationship in the last few decades and it has been very helpful for the Indians who are in the US or planning to live there. India has opened new Consulates at different locations making it easier for Indians to get their visa and passport related issues resolved. The Ministry of External Affairs shared news about the opening of an Indian Visa Application Centre in Seattle.
The Visa center was inaugurated by the Consulate General Of India and the Mayor Of Seattle jointly. This is the first Indian Visa Application Centre (IVAC) in Seattle. It invites applications for Visa, OCI and passport from any Indian who wants to apply.
The Indian Consulate in Seattle was established in November 2023 and this is a big step forward in the direction of making visa services more accessible to Indians in the region.
A drop off facility has also been established for applications in Bellevue and applicants can approach any center for their work. This is a boost to the bilateral relations between the two countries and is equally beneficial for the people living in the region.
