Japan has had a reputation of not being one of the most hospitable countries around the world. Although it is regarded as one of the safest countries in Asia, it is taking a hit because of miscreants who are allegedly Pakistani immigrants. A viral video shows some men beating and thrashing each other on the streets of Japan.
Immigrants constitute a very small part of the population in Japan and they have lived peacefully for decades. However, there are claims that the country is suffering from the nuisance created by the immigrants. A video which got viral shows a number of people although unidentified, creating a ruckus on the streets and causing destruction to property.
People are claiming that Japanese people would not tolerate this and they will soon kick out all the miscreants. Many are comparing this with what happened in the UK and consider this as a fair warning sign for Japan. But the ugliest thing that happened in the UK was in fact organized by white supremacists and the far right in opposition to the immigrants.
How is it that when it’s the locals behind it, it’s an issue of law enforcement but if it’s an immigrant it becomes a matter of immigration. How is it that you’re framed as an infiltrator and an enemy when you take to streets but the locals remain a hero even after burning down whole cities.
