In exciting news for travelers, Air India has introduced a new and enhanced flying experience on its routes from Mumbai to the United States. The airline has deployed its recently acquired Boeing 777 aircraft to all three US destinations it serves non-stop: New York JFK Airport, Newark Liberty Airport (New Jersey), and San Francisco.

These upgraded aircraft feature modern interiors and advanced in-flight entertainment systems in all classes. For the first time, passengers traveling from Mumbai to North American cities can enjoy state-of-the-art amenities, making their journey more comfortable and enjoyable.

The Boeing 777-200LR aircraft, which serves San Francisco and New York JFK, boasts 28 Business Class, 48 Premium Economy, and 212 Economy Class seats. Meanwhile, the B777-300ER aircraft, operating on routes to Newark Liberty and London, offers eight First Class, 40 Business, and 280 Economy Class seats.

One of the significant highlights of this upgrade is the introduction of First Class cabins on the Mumbai-London Heathrow route. Air India’s Managing Director and CEO, Campbell Wilson, expressed his delight in providing an elevated experience to passengers. He revealed that this enhancement is part of Air India’s ongoing efforts to transform its services. The airline has already welcomed seven new B777 aircraft, with four more expected to join the fleet soon. Additionally, six new Airbus A350s are set to be introduced in the coming months.

These Boeing 777 aircraft, known for their long-range capabilities, offer spacious cabins equipped with in-flight entertainment, Wi-Fi, and a premium economy class, ensuring a comfortable journey for travelers flying between India and the US.
