The US Embassy in India had previously announced the plan to issue 10 lakh visas to Indians this year, 2023.
Well, this plan had been successfully executed already, with a little over 2 months still to go in 2023. In a new record, the US Embassy in India has issued 10 lakh visas to Indians this year.
“#Missionto1M accomplished! We are excited to announce that the U.S. Mission to India has reached and surpassed our goal to process one million visa applications in 2023!
We will not stop here and continue our progress in coming months, to give as many Indian applicants the opportunity to travel to the United States.” the statement from the US Embassy read.
This announcement comes right after the US Embassy announced that they had processed over 90,000 student visas in June, July, and August. Now, they’ve reached a much bigger milestone in total by issuing 10 lakh visas.
