Even though the intensity of the Ukraine-Russia war is still at a devastating level, the media coverage had started to shift and the international interest was also slowly slipping away. However, this deadly strike by Russia which claimed the life of a prominent foreign personnel is likely to bring scrutiny back on Russia and the war atrocities.
A missile strike by Russia has resulted in the death of a British Safety advisor in the city of Kramatorsk. The attack took place in the eastern Donetsk region of Ukraine where the safety advisor and his crew were staying in a hotel.
The missile struck the hotel they were staying in on Saturday night. He was with a team of journalists when the attack took place. Two other members of the team were injured and taken to the hospital for treatment. This comes as an aftermath of Ukrainian aggression that drove the war back to Russian territory.
It is highly likely that the death of the British advisor is going to attract the attention of the international community which has recently shifted elsewhere. The war has been stretched for more than two year and there’s still no sight of an end to it.
