The US government and the legal system take the strongest of actions against those who commit sexual assaults on minors. Now, an Indian-American has been arrested in one such case.
As per reports, Sandeep, 21 works as a food delivery agent. He was called in for a Pizza order at a motel room in California.
Incidentally, Sandeep, while delivering the order, forced himself into the room and sexually abused and assaulted a minor girl. San Jose Police Department issued an official statement to this regard.
The incident happened on the 21st of October and Sandeep was arrested by the police on the same day in the city of Campbell.
The female juvenile was alone in the motel while Sandeep forced himself onto her. Her mother, who was with her a while ago, stepped out before the pizza delivery, as a result of which, the perpetrator, Sandeep committed the heinous crime.
He is currently at Santa Clara County jail and faces multiple charges, namely sex crime, sexual battery and false imprisonment.
