A 25-year-old student from Kamareddy district in Telangana died under suspicious circumstances in London. The deceased, Savusani Srinath Reddy, had reportedly gone to attend a birthday party two days before the incident.
The news has left Talamadla village in Rajampet mandal in deep shock. Srinath had travelled to the United Kingdom last year to pursue higher education. He was studying in the second year of his MS course at the University of Leicester.
According to reports, Srinath’s relatives who were in London reached the location after learning about the incident. They later informed his parents about the tragic loss. His friends reportedly found him dead.
The exact cause of Srinath’s death has not yet been confirmed. As a result, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. Authorities are expected to complete the required formalities before sending his body back to India.
His family and relatives are struggling to accept the sudden loss of the young student, who had gone abroad with dreams of building a bright future. They have appealed to the government to speed up the process of bringing his mortal remains to his native village so they can perform his last rites.
