In a very tragic incident, three Indian American students were killed in the USA in a car accident when their vehicle overturned. The accident took place in Alpharetta, Georgia and is believed to be caused by loss of control due to overspeeding. Among the dead are two women who were also inside the car. All the victims are believed to be 18 years old.
According to the report, the driver lost control of the vehicle maybe because of speeding and it turned over and collided with the tree line. Two of the victims were declared dead on the spot while the other succumbed to her injuries at a local hospital. Two others were also present inside the car who had sustained severe injuries.

The casualties include an 18 year old boy from Alpharetta High School and two women, first year students of University of Georgia. The person who was driving the vehicle, a Honda Accord, survived with some injuries.
This adds to the list of Indian and Indian American students who have lost their lives in the United States in a number of different ways this year. The unprecedented increase in these deaths related and unrelated have shocked the whole Indian American community.
