The most difficult of situations are the times when the highest courage is tested and the bravest is identified. The ongoing struggle in the Red Sea caused by Houthi terrorists took the life of a Texas Tech graduate and Navy SEAL. The Navy SEAL lost his life in an act of bravery while trying to protect the interests of the international community.
Nathan Gage Ingram was a graduate from Texas Tech. He was also a Navy Special Warfare Operator 2nd Class. Ingram’s family and the community in Lubbock, Texas is grieving and also thankful for his services.
According to the reports, Ingram was conducting a night time seizure with another Navy SEAL when both of them went missing. They were trying to seize a vessel which was trying to illegally transport lethal aid from Iran to Yemen.
The Yemen based Houthis are believed to be backed by Iran. The US has conducted airstrikes on numerous Houthi targets in Yemen as a countermeasure but it has had no effect on the number of attacks made by Houthis on commercial ships.
