In a tragic incident, 4 Indians drowned to death at Phillip Island Beach in Victoria, Australia. The incident happened on Wednesday afternoon.
Going into the story, 4 Indians went to the unpatrolled Phillip Island beach in Victoria, Australia on Wednesday and got into the waters for a swim. Shockingly, they all drowned and lost their lives.
The victims are a man and two women in their 20s and another woman who is in her 40s. All four of them belong to an extended family.
The attempts of the lifeguards who arrived on the scenes were unfruitful. One woman in her 20s was identified to be alive and was rushed to the hospital but she sadly died later.
The Indian High Commission in Canberra issued an official statement on this and announced that the Consulate General in Melbourne is in touch with the friends of the deceased.
