An Indian user’s reply to Donald Trump went viral when he got an unusual message from the Republican candidate’s account.
The X users received an automated message from Trump’s account encouraging people to participate in the elections in North Carolina. The message also urged them to vote for Donald J. Trump by November 5th as early voting has begun in the state.
An Indian user also received this personalized message and jokingly replied that neither Trump nor Kamala Harris would be his president as he is form India.
This prompted other Indian users to share the same message received from Trump’s account leading people to believe that it was a massive blunder from his team.
However, the message was generated to everyone who liked Trump’s post about the early elections in North Carolina. It was aimed to encourage voters in the state to vote for the Republican party as they get a personalized response from the former US President.
People joked that even Trump messages personally for votes. Some others came to his defense saying it’s a normal practice during elections and Indians even compared it to the local parties having automated calls and texts during election season.
