UK Visa Scam Exposed, Fake Jobs Sold for Cash

UK visa scam undercover investigation

An undercover investigation has exposed a disturbing network of UK visa scams targeting migrants from India. The operation was recorded during a secret meeting in Wembley, North London, revealing how illegal pathways to work visas are openly sold.

Reporters posing as applicants met Komal Shinde, a student visa holder, who offered access to five-year skilled worker visas. She quoted prices ranging between 17,000 and 19,000 GBP, presenting the scheme as a reliable shortcut to legal employment in the UK.

Shinde listed sponsored job options in Neasden care homes, Wembley Park’s Boxpark restaurant, and supported living roles. She claimed positions were available as managers or staff, and even mentioned NHS coverage to make the offers appear legitimate.

For applicants choosing a route without a real job, Shinde explained a fake sponsorship model. Clients allegedly paid salaries in cash, which were routed through payroll to show tax compliance, while most of the money was later withdrawn.

She charged an extra 1,000 GBP to manage the process and claimed to create fake experience certificates. Shinde also pitched Global Talent Visas costing up to 32,000 GBP, promising ILR in three years and citing multiple successful cases.

The footage reflects a wider UK visa fraud pattern affecting Indian migrants, including Kerala carers still awaiting justice. Social media promotions continue to trap victims in cash-for-visa schemes, highlighting the urgent need for stricter UK Home Office oversight.
