Rajeev Kumaraswamy, a 28-year-old man from Forsyth County, Georgia, US, has been sentenced to life in prison for the 2021 murder of his father, Sadashiviah Kumaraswamy.

The tragic incident unfolded on July 22, 2021, at approximately 5:50 p.m., when an argument between Rajeev and his father turned deadly.

In a shocking turn of events, Rajeev retrieved a gun from his room and shot his father multiple times at their home on Homestead Ridge Drive in Cumming.

Sadashiviah, who was 49 years old at the time, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Rajeev was arrested without any trouble and charged with killing his father. The community was shocked because the police had never been called to their home before this tragic incident.

The sentencing of Rajeev Kumaraswamy to life in prison marks a grim conclusion to a family dispute that ended in a devastating loss.
