
It was just a few days back an Indian student had to self deport to Canada due to supporting terrorist outfit Hamas.
Now, the US has cracked down on students who were or are active in campus protests. The foreign ministry has warned such students and has sent emails to students asking them to self deport.

And it’s not just students who participated in protest, the letters were sent to students who captured the protests and shared anti-US slogans online. It is likely that Indian students will also be part of this group.
The move has raised concerns over the students being active online and their freedom of expression. The American foreign department is filtering students who were spreading anti-US stance. If found guilty, the students will be asked to stop studies at universities and self deport themselves, sources say.

A decision has been taken by foreign department along with consulates to this affect, according to international media. The emails are being sent from ‘Bureau of Consular Affairs Visa’.
