One visa applicant created a profile, verified their ID, and returned the next day to finish the form. But instead of progressing, they were locked out.

While people suggest switching to a different browser such as Firefox, it still didn’t work for a few users.
Several Indian applicants are reporting the exact same problem. So far there’s no official explanation from the website or any alert from the US State Department.
