According to her, she was waiting at a bus stop in the US when she noticed an elderly Telugu woman. Happy to meet someone from her home state, she started a casual conversation.
After speaking for a few minutes, the elderly woman reportedly asked a question she never expected.

Not what she did for a living.
Instead, she allegedly asked, “What is your caste?”
The woman says she was shocked and chose to end the conversation. In the video, she questioned why people who move abroad for education, jobs, and a better future still bring caste into everyday interactions.

Many users supported her, arguing that caste has no place in conversations between strangers, especially in a country like the US. Some sarcastically remarked that people may settle abroad and earn in dollars but still fail to leave behind their obsession with caste.
