People love to talk about conspiracy theories, to believe that everything around them is controlled by just a few, very powerful persons. They even work hard to find evidence to back their claims. And, once in a while, someone turns it into a form of entertainment (books, movies, series).
One such series is the latest addition to Netflix’s true crime docu-series ‘American Conspiracy: The Octopus Murders’. The series follows the events that led to and after the murder of American investigative journalist Danny Casolaro.
Now, three decades later, another journalist becomes obsessed with the murder of Casolaro and so begins the journey to find the truth or so it is portrayed.
Created by Zachary Treitz, the show tries to uncover a lot of lies, hidden truths and even goes on to accuse many well known figures of the late Twentieth century.
The four episode long docu-series is a great watch if you like true crime and want to see how a detective mind works. It is streaming on Netflix
