Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, debuted on Netflix on June 6. Despite its disastrous box office performance, there was hope that the OTT release might fare better.
However, the response on OTT has been equally dismal. Forget about watching and then giving it a bad review, many viewers haven’t even bothered to watch it on the streaming platform. The film has been largely ignored by the digital audience.
The viewership numbers are incredibly low, with the film trending in only one country on Netflix and not even making the top 10 in 14 other countries. The official numbers will be announced soon by Netflix.
It’s a disappointing outcome for a film made on a massive budget of 350 crores. It collected just 60 crores theatrically in India and now faces a similarly embarrassing reception on OTT.
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan has turned into a complete disaster in every aspect. Those involved with the film likely wish to forget their association with it.
